Teeth Whitening
You deserve bright, white teeth in your smile. Our teeth whitening treatments will help you achieve just that—so you can feel confident in your tooth coloring.
Professional Teeth Whitening
If you are unhappy with your dulled or yellowed teeth, teeth whitening can help you achieve a beautiful smile. Discolored teeth can be a result of poor hygiene, but they are also associated with old age and frailty of the teeth.
The first professional option is commonly referred to as in-office whitening. This procedure is performed in a dental office. During an appointment, your dental professional will apply a whitening gel to the surface of your teeth. The entire office visit generally takes about 90 minutes and you will be able to see results immediately.
If in-office whitening isn’t what you’re looking for, our take-home trays may be just the option for you. Tray bleaching is a type of professional whitening that uses custom-made trays and whitening gel only available through your dentist. The whitening gel is placed in custom-fitted trays that fit perfectly over your teeth. As the peroxide in the gel breaks down, hydroxy radicals help whiten stained teeth. Unlike strips, this process whitens all your natural teeth and may contain ingredients intended to provide maximum comfort. At-home professional tray whitening generally takes ten to 14 days, although you may notice results in as little as three to five days.

How is professional teeth whitening performed?
Our office currently offers two different types of professional whitening services: in-office and custom-made trays.
- Professional In-Office. These procedures start by covering up vulnerable areas inside the mouth, including the lips and gums, to prevent exposure from the peroxide. Then, we apply a high-concentrate hydrogen peroxide gel directly to the teeth and activate it. You will rest comfortably for a short time until the gel does its work. Then we remove the coverings and rinse the gel away. You’ll leave our office with brighter, whiter teeth!
- Custom-made trays. We will take a custom mold of your teeth to make clear trays that you take home, along with a whitening gel. These trays will help minimize the risk of whitening gel affecting your gums or mouth and you can whiten your teeth from the comfort of your home. All you have to do is place the whitening gel inside the trays and place the trays in your mouth.

How do I whiten my teeth at home?
If you’re looking for a teeth whitening remedy without coming to the dentist, there are a few simple things you can try at home like brushing with baking soda, use hydrogen peroxide to brush or rinse with on an occasional basis (cut the peroxide in half so you are using a 1.5% solution and not a 3% solution, which is common for over-the-counter), use apple cider vinegar as a brushing or rinsing agent, eat more fruits and vegetables—they are good for your body and your teeth, limit foods that stain your teeth such as soda, coffee and wine, limit your sugar intake and always remember to brush and floss twice a day—it’s still a powerful tool.
