Invisalign® Costs Calculator & Payment Options

If you’re considering Invisalign® to achieve your dream smile, we’re here to make the process easier—from estimating your monthly costs to helping you explore a variety of payment and insurance options. At Kansas City Smiles & Co., we believe everyone deserves access to a straighter, healthier smile—regardless of their financial situation.

Calculating Invisalign® Costs

Invisalign® clear aligners have revolutionized orthodontic treatment. Sleek, virtually invisible and removable, they’re a popular choice among teens and adults alike. These custom aligners gradually shift your teeth into place—without the discomfort and appearance of metal braces. Invisalign® costs can vary based on your specific treatment plan, but the cost is fairly comparable to braces. Costs depend on several factors, including treatment duration and the number of aligners needed. Our team will provide a detailed breakdown of expenses after a consultation and prior to beginning treatment.

To help you budget effectively, we offer a user-friendly Invisalign® Cost Calculator. This tool gives you a clear breakdown of your estimated monthly payment, including a range of options from 12- to 72-month plans.

Does Dental Insurance Cover Invisalign®

Dental insurance often covers a portion of orthodontic treatment, which includes clear aligners. At Kansas City Smiles & Co., we’re proud to accept various PPO dental insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card to each appointment. We can help you navigate your benefits and identify how much insurance will cover and what your out-of-pocket costs will be.

Tip: You can use your HSA or FSA to pay for the out-of-pocket expenses.

No Insurance? We’ve Got You Covered

If you don’t have dental insurance, we offer a budget-friendly solution: our Dental Membership Plan. This in-house plan includes 10% discounts on Invisalign®, making orthodontic treatment more affordable. Unlike traditional insurance our membership plan has:

  • No waiting periods
  • No hidden fees
  • No deductibles

Flexible Financing Through CareCredit®

For additional financial flexibility, we’ve partnered with CareCredit®. With CareCredit®, you can break your treatment cost into manageable monthly payments that suit your budget. Overdentures 101: A Modern Approach to Tooth Replacement

If you’re struggling with missing teeth or uncomfortable dentures, you’re not alone—and you have more options than ever before. At KC Smiles & Co., we’re committed to providing solutions that restore your smile, confidence and quality of life. One such option that’s gaining popularity among our patients is overdentures.

What Are Overdentures?

An overdenture, sometimes called All-on-4 implants, is a type of denture supported by four to six dental implants. Unlike traditional dentures that rest solely on your gums, overdentures are anchored in place, offering enhanced stability, comfort and functionality. They can be removable for easy cleaning or designed to be fixed in place, depending on your needs and preferences.

Who Is a Candidate for Overdentures?

Overdentures are an excellent option for:

  • Patients who have lost most or all of their teeth
  • Individuals with loose or ill-fitting traditional dentures
People who want a more secure and natural-feeling solution
  • Patients seeking to preserve bone density in the jaw through implant support

If you’re considering dentures or looking to upgrade from traditional ones, we can evaluate your oral health and help determine whether overdentures are right for you.

Benefits of Overdentures

  • Improved Stability: No more slipping or clicking when you talk or eat.
  • Greater Comfort: Less irritation to your gums and fewer sore spots.
  • Enhanced Chewing Efficiency: Eat a broader range of foods with confidence.
  • Bone Preservation: Implants stimulate the jawbone and help prevent bone loss.
  • Natural Appearance: Custom-designed to match your facial features and smile.

The Overdenture Process at KC Smiles & Co.

Your journey to a confident, functional smile begins with a comprehensive consultation. At KC Smiles & Co., we use advanced diagnostics and personalized treatment planning to ensure the best outcome. The implants will be placed first. Over time, they will integrate with your jawbone through a process called osseointegration, and once the healing process is complete, your dentist will attach your denture to the implants. Throughout the process, we’ll be by your side to answer questions, manage comfort and ensure that you’re happy with your results.

Caring for Your Overdentures

Whether your overdentures are fixed or removable, proper care is essential. You’ll need to:

  • Clean around the denture and any supporting implants or teeth daily.
  • Visit us for regular dental checkups and maintenance.
  • Follow our team’s recommendations for home hygiene and care.

With proper maintenance, your overdentures can offer years of dependable function and a confident smile.

Ready to Explore Your Options?

If you’re ready to say goodbye to loose dentures or are exploring tooth replacement options for the first time, overdentures may be the perfect solution. Contact KC Smiles & Co. today to schedule a consultation and take the first step toward a stronger, more secure smile.

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental Implants are a safe and effective way to replace a single missing tooth or multiple teeth or secure dentures and other large prostheses. They consist of an artificial root and a manufactured tooth that can be placed on it.

What are the benefits of dental implants?

There are several benefits that make dental implants the best option for replacing missing teeth, including:

  • Stabilized bone levels and the prevention of bone loss
  • Providing greater long-term support and functionality
  • Denture stabilization
  • Providing an artificial root system, which keeps the remaining teeth in line
  • NO required alteration of adjacent teeth

Are there different types of dental implants?

Yes. The most common type is endosteal implants. They consist of a metal rod installed into the jawbone and a supporting post that secures a dental crown or bridge.

Another common type is All-on-4 Dental Implants. These revolutionary systems consist of an entire top or bottom denture supported by just four implants. The implants are placed so that replacement teeth remain steady and secure. The advantage of all-on-4 implants is that they help patients recover faster and reduce the chances of complications.

What does the dental implant procedure entail?

First, our dentist will examine the area in your mouth where you’re considering a dental implant. Then, an oral surgeon will need to decide if there are any current teeth that need to be removed and which type of bone graft needs to be done. These procedures will occur first, followed by enough recovery time to heal to ensure an adequate and strong bone is present at the implant site. Then, the dental implant is placed into the bone, and a healing cap is placed over the implant. You must follow up with regular check-ups to ensure proper healing and no infection.

Are dental implants right for me?

If you have loose or missing teeth or were born without a tooth, dental implants may be right for you. Give us a call to schedule a dental implant consultation or to ask any questions you may have.

How Long Do Dental Veneers Last?

If you’re considering getting dental veneers or have had them in the past, it’s important to know how long they will last. Depending on the type of veneers you receive will play a part in how long your dental veneers will last. Proper care of your veneers will help ensure you get the most out of them.

Taking Care of Your Dental Veneers

Once your procedure is done, your job is not over. Patients must follow proper oral health guidelines to ensure their dental veneers stay in good condition. If you want your new smile to last as long as possible, use the following list to stay on top of your oral health:

  • Daily Brushing and Flossing: You should already be brushing your teeth twice daily, but it’s always nice to have a reminder. Brushing your teeth should take around two minutes to ensure you are removing the plaque on your teeth. Patients should also be flossing their teeth once a day.
  • Limit Sweets: If you have dental veneers, limiting the number of sweets you consume is a good idea. You don’t have to stop eating sweets completely, but it’s important to be aware of how much you are consuming so you can be mindful of your oral health.

  • Regular Dental Checkups: Visit our Independence or Blue Springs, MO, dental office every six months for a dental checkup to ensure your veneers last as long as possible. During your visit, we will professionally clean your teeth to ensure they are plaque-free and debris-free.

How long do veneers last?

The lifespan of your dental veneers depends on the type you receive. With the proper care, porcelain veneers can last anywhere from 10 to 12 years. However, composite veneers usually only last between 4 and 8 years.

Some dental veneers can last up to 20 years if you take great care of them. Always ask your dentist if you have any questions about the timeline.

When should I replace dental veneers?

Replacing your dental veneers is similar to the process of first getting them on. Your dentist will start by filing away and refining the bonding agent. Then, they will retake a mold of your teeth to ensure your new veneers fit just as well as your previous set. They will then create your new veneers and bond them back to your teeth.

You should always follow proper oral health guidelines to ensure that your dental veneers last as long as possible. If you have been considering dental veneers, contact Kansas City Smiles & Co to get your questions answered.
